These modified
Compressors are ideal for Sampling and Purging Bores with
pneumatic pumps.
They are12 volt powered, Portable, Easy to Use, Lightweight, and Small
with 50m Depth Capability.
They are ideal to drive the Sample Pro
Micropurge® Pump, and any other pneumatic pumps.
What
About Flow Rates?
If you are using low-flow or Micropurge®
Sampling, these compressors will easily accommodate the required pump
flow rates of up to 1L/min.
If you are sampling via traditional purge
and sample methods, you could use a 12V compressor to drive an
air displacement pump.
Pumping rates using a 12 volt compressor will be low compared to 240 volt
electrical pumps or to rates achieved using larger compressors. Typical
rates will be from 6 lpm at open flow to 2 lpm at 40 metres depth. However
the advantages of this system in many situations will outweigh the loss of
any time aspect.

Receiver Tank & Cut-Off Switch
The compressors are fitted with a switch and receiver tank. This allows
pressure to build up in the receiver tank, the compressor then cuts off
till pressure in the receiver tanks falls below 75 psi. This avoids a lot
of unnecessary running of the compressor and heavily draining your vehicle
battery.
Storage and Transport Case for
Compressor
The 12V compressors can be supplied with a rigid plastic case which
provides good storage and transport protection. The case is large enough
to store a pump controller as well, if required, making a compact package.
The case has a split hinged lid.
Case dimensions 360mm l x 260mm W x 295mm H, with 26 litre capacity.
