Application: |
Designed to easily collect undisturbed samples with minimal effort, by
pushing the core sampler tip into the material being sampled. Pushing can
be done by manually or by using the AMS slide hammer. Extend the range of
depth by using a soil auger to make access through a pre-augered hole.
Take sufficient extensions to the field to allow collection from the
deepest point plus about three feet to allow for proper use of the AMS
slide hammer. Samples are collected in removable liners that can be sealed
with end caps.

High Quality Construction: |
Made of the highest quality stainless or carbon tubing.
The Stainless model, designed for sensitive soil testing sampling, is
comprised of 300 series stainless steel with a hardened stainless 400
series core tip and 300 series cap. The Standard model, designed for
normal geotechnical sampling, is comprised of hardened high carbon steel
for extra durability with a heat-treated core tip and carbon steel cap. |
