This Australian made
sampler is used in very, very soft and wet conditions. The sampler is made from a
half-tube steel with one pointed aluminium end, a cover flap (blade) and a connection for
extension rods.
The sampler is pushed into the very soft material until at the desired depth, the flap
excludes unwanted materials until the sample is required and then by turning the T-Handle
(supplied separately) the flap traps the sample inside the half-tube and the sampler is
removed. Made from 50mm, 62mm or 75mm tube and up to 750mm long sample length.
