The DustTrak is a portable, battery operated, laser photometer which gives you a real time digital read out of dust particles in mg/m3 in the air with the added benefit of an internal data logger.
The unit can provide reliable employee exposure to PM10, PM2.5 PM1.0 or respirable size fractions.
Simple to use, the DustTrak allows you to perform quick spot checks or you can program the advanced logging modes for long term sampling. You can program start/stop times, recording intervals and other parameters. You can even set up the instrument for continuous unattended operation. The DustTrak is suitable for clean office settings as well as harsh outdoor industrial workplaces.
Particle Size Filtering:
The DustTrak is supplied with a PM10 inlet and a 10 millimetre Nylon Dorr-Oliver Cyclone for respirable sampling with a cut-off at 4 microns. Additionally it is also now supplied with inlet conditioners
(impactors) that limit the upper size to 2.5 or 1.0 microns.
Data Management:
What do you do with all that data? When you’re ready, download the data from the DustTrak monitor to your PC and easily create custom graphs using the Windows software included with each instrument. You can illustrate how airborne particle concentrations vary over time, and pinpoint hard-to-locate time-of-day dependent IAQ (indoor air quality) or industrial workplace problems. Print graphs on a monochrome or color printer and use them to make impressive reports or presentations.
