The H.OIL oil/water interface meter is used to accurately measure the thickness of floating product (LNAPL) above the water table. It will also detect and measure sinking layers of DNAPL. The H.OIL with its slim probe 16mm is ideal for wells, piezometers and direct push equipment as narrow as 19mm ID. The probe and tape will withstand hydrocarbons, solvents and other contaminants. This unit is used by professionals involved with the monitoring and remediation of groundwater contaminated by oil products. The H.OIL interface meter is suitable for wells, boreholes, underground and above ground storage tanks.

Reel

Constructed of durable U.V. resistant engineered plastic with stainless steel fittings.
Large handles for easy use with gloved hands.
Soft vinyl grip on the frame makes rewinding easier.
A unique hook on the reel allows the meter to hang on the casing.

Electronics

Fully encapsulated electronics.
The electronic reel module is easily removable in seconds.
Signal format is solid tone and light for oil - intermittent for water on model H.O1L
Uses one easily accessible 9V battery.

Tape

Top quality Kynar Jacketed Accurate Engineering Grade
Tape Complies with US tape standard (US 999-T-106E).
Resin coated high tensile steel.
Tape conductors are stainless steel.
A unique Viton and steel link between the tap and probe prevents excessive stress at this point.
Tapes are available in English or Metric units.
Standard lengths 30m, 45m, 60m & 90m. Other lengths available on request.

Probe

Ultra-slim 15mm and 45mm diameter stainless steel probe.
Unique, encapsulated probe provides leak-proof performance to the full tape depth.
