Kleer Membrane Skimmers - “Guaranteed Forever”
KLEER offers a simple, easy to install series of passive skimmers that are guaranteed not to collect water.
Features:
- Water tight to 2-3 meters of submergence
- Nominal recovery rates for gasoline are 1 liter per hour per 300 mm of membrane in 300 mm of product
- Upper viscosity limits are #2 Fuel oil
- 300mm long screen.
Custom Configurations are available if you have very little water or if the reservoir is not going to be emptied often.
KLEER Passive Models RSS-25, 50 and 75 can be pumped from the surface with a Remedial Support peristaltic or diaphragm pump.
Extra Filter Length
If your water table may rise unexpectedly due to water depression pump failure, tides, or storm infiltration, we recommend an extra length of filter to ensure that your hydrocarbon recovery continues. KLEER Staged filters in standard length handle 15-18cms of ground water fluctuation. Tell us how much ground water fluctuation you expect: we can supply an extra length filter if necessary.
