The PetroPore Active Skimmer is one of the few low priced liquid hydrocarbon recovery systems on the market that allows for collection of free product floating on the groundwater.
The PetroPore Active Skimmer is built on the successful passive version, by allowing emptying of the down-well collection chamber using a simple timer with appropriate air supply.
Choose from the locally manufactured electro pneumatic timer for single wells, or an imported version for multiple wells.

Skimmer comes complete with coiled tubing, ready to connect to air supply and product recovery lines. Skimmer will track up to 0.6m level variation

• Compressor, 4.5 cfm with integral pressure switch and receiver tank, 240V single phase power required
• Electropneumatic EDV2003 timer valve automatically opens and closes the purge air to the skimmer. 
• Drum overfill protection device to shut off air supply to skimmer when drum is full
• Well cap with gland nuts to allow continuous hoses running through the cap
• Active Petropore skimmer, 40 mm or 90 mm diameter on coiled hosing to allow level following in the well
• Product resistent tubing for air supply and discharge, 10 m each
• Large plastic case 550x550x650 mm, with hinged lid to house compressor and timer
