QED C100 Controller

Versatile pump controller provides easy adjustment of floating hydrocarbon removal rates, including programmed OFF periods.  The controller offers easy digital control of pump operations to match your projects specific floating hydrocarbon properties and site conditions. The C100 controller even includes the ability to program OFF periods, so that the maximum LNAPL flow through the soil can be maintained. Such OFF periods can enhance higher net free phase product removal rates.

The Model C100 Digital Controller is solar-powered and provides advanced operational capabilities at an economical price. The solar powered mode of operation includes a 10 day battery back up and has been proven under cold winter regions for rechargability. Easy to use digital control of pump discharge and refill cycles and programmed “off-times” make it convenient to optimize LNAPL recovery, even for difficult sites. Tank-full shut-off for the collection tank is a safe, simple and inexpensive add-on to the C100, as is an optional level control function.

Connection terminals on the rear of the C100 allow the connection of simple float switches to either:
a) shut the controller down if the liquid level gets too high such as in a product recovery operation and the collection tank becomes full or
b) Shut the controller down if the liquid level gets too low such as in a bore draw down pumping operation. If the bore water level becomes too low, the system shuts down and waits till the water level rises again.
