QED Over Fill Protection Device for C100 controller

The Model 800021 Full tank Shut off is an option for the C100 pump controller. It is a electric powered float device that screws into the top of the 50 mm bung hole in a standard 205 liter drum. The two wires are connect to the appropriate terminals on the back of the C100 controller to complete the set up. When high levels are detected, the C100 will discontinue pumpp operation and will enter and remain in the “Full Tank” and “System Disable” mode. To resume normall operation, the drum level must be lowered sufficiently to deactivate the switch and the C100 must be manually reset.
Features
• Low cost
• Simple to connect
• One device can control multiple C100 controllers in a Daisy Chain configuration
the controller as in pneumatic shut off devices
• Any wire breaks or disconnections will cause the C100 to fail safe to the “System Disable” condition

Note: This device is not rated Intrinsically safe

Well Caps and Tubing
A range of well caps is available from QED to suit their product only pumps.

MINTUBE is a sheath of Nylon tubing packaged by QED for ease of handling and installation.
MINTUBE contains three tubes

  • 3/8” (10 mm) OD air exhaust line (only used for automatic pumps)
  • 1/2” (12 mm) OD fluid discharge line
  • 1/4” (6 mm) OD air supply line
Pump Positioning Tool
The pump positioning tool is used to determine the position of the top of the pump relative to the top of the liquid level in the well. It gives a read out in inches of the depth of the pump below the liquid.
It works off the back pressure created when a small amount of air is pumped down an air line. The back pressure is created by the pressure required to push the liquid out the bottom of the air line when it is under liquid.
With the bottom of the air line attached to the pump inlet, simply squeeze the hand pump until a consistent reading is obtained on the gauge. Then raise or lower the pump to place the pump inlet at the desired depth.
