The Lever Pump is designed to minimise the tedious task of manually pumping water by maximising the mechanical advantage. The lever is a convenient tool which allows for quick sampling of wells without the need for external power sources. It is intended for use in conditions where the wells are 10 - 30 meters deep when using the Waterra® Standard System or 60m deep maximum when using the High Flow System.
The design utilises easy to use quick release clamps for head clamp, discharge clamp and well clamp connections. The injection moulded Delrin Rake Adjustment Knob assembly simplifies the centering of the head clamp/tube over the riser simply by sliding the shaft into the desired position and tightening the knob.
The reinforced, V-shaped side support eliminates unwanted lateral movements, while the pivoting wrist at the head clamp provides a smooth and controlled upward and downward stroke for maximum mechanical advantage. Lightweight, corrosion resistant materials, finishes and a maintenance free design ensures years of reliability and portability.

The Waterra® stainless steel pump handle mounts on the top of the well casing and provides mechanical leverage and support to assist the up/down pumping action. The handle also provides a fixed support for the end of the discharge tubing to facilitate the filling of the sample bottles and the measurement of flow rate. The handle is easily carried from well to well when used with dedicated pumps. It is not necessary to decontaminate the handle, as no part of the handle comes into contact with the pumped water.
