The Waterra® High-Capacity Inline Disposable Filters include the
WAT45® which offers 600cm2 of effective 0.45 micron filtration area
- our biggest yet. This reduces the need for multiple filter changes with large or very silty
groundwater samples.
Waterra®
currently has two Inline disposable 0.45 micron filter options available:
the high turbidity WAT45® and the medium turbidity WMT45.
The WAT45® offers the
user the most surface area available in capsule type filters today. The
unique open pleat geometry and 600cm2 surface area provides the
maximum media exposure while ensuring that even with the most turbid
samples, you will not lose filtration media to binding.
The WAT45® uses high
quality polyethersulphone 0.45 micron filter media which offers excellent
particle retention above the target micron size range. The high void
volume of this media also helps prolong media life.
The WAT45® also offers
the user greater flexibility over other products by providing a compound
inlet. It has both a 3/8" (10mm) threaded nipple and a 1/2" (12.6mm) hose
barb allowing the filter to be attached easily to a variety of pumps and
tubing sizes.
The medium turbidity
WMT45 has all of these great features as well, but with a reduced surface
area at 300
cm2.
These filters provide an economical alternative for lower turbidity
sampling, when the highest possible capacity is not required.
Rinses Clean!
The Waterra FHT-45
Inline Disposable 0.45 Micron Filter is now certified to rinse clean.
Independent ICP/MS analysis proves it.
Filter right out of the bailer in one easy step!
Using the WAT45® filter, a
Clear View disposable bailer
and a short length of 1/4” (6 mm) OD poly tube, (cut at 45 deg on each end) you can connect the bailer outlet to the filter inlet. Then let the water gravity drain out of the bailer through the filter.
